<br />Roseville City Council Minutes <br />November 23, 1987 <br /> <br />E-4 <br /> <br />Cushman moved, Kehr seconded, that Resolution 8218, <br />increasing the salary ranges for Clerical/Technical <br />employees by 3.5 percent, and providing a monthly <br />insurance contribution level of $175.00, be adopted. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Matson, Cushman, and <br />Wiski. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Cushman moved, Kehr seconded, that Resolution 8219, <br />increasing the salary ranges for Supervisory/Confiden- <br />tial employees by 3.5 percent, and providing a monthly <br />insurance contribution level of $185.00, be adopted. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Matson, Cushman, and <br />Wiski. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Cushman moved, Kehr seconded, that Resolution 8220, <br />increasing the salary ranges for Management/Adminis- <br />trative employees by 3.5 percent, and providing that <br />the benefit package provided to the employees covered <br />under this plan remains unchanged from the 1987 <br />package except that the monthly insurance contribu- <br />tion be increased to $200.00, be adopted. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Matson, Cushman, and Wiski. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that the staff be <br />instructed to prepare an ordinance providing for paid <br />holiday benefits for regular part-time employees. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Matson, Cushman, and <br />wiski. Nays: None. <br /> <br />E-5 <br /> <br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that the 1987 Police <br />Sergeant Contract settlement be approved, and author- <br />izing the City Manager to execute the contract. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Matson, Cushman, and <br />Wiski. Nays: None. <br /> <br />E-6 <br /> <br />Matson moved, Johnson seconded, that the Roseville <br />Citizen's Advisory Committee on Solid Waste be <br />requested to prepare a recommended plan for organized <br />collection to be submitted to the City Council for <br />review at a public hearing. The committee is also <br />requested to review the changes in the field of solid <br />was.te management since submitting its initial report, <br />and provide the Council a short update. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Matson, Cushman, and Wiski. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />E'-7 <br /> <br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that the St. Paul Winter <br />Carnival's request to hold their annual Softball Tour- <br />nament at Lake McCarrons on Saturday, February 6, <br />1988, and Sunday, February 7, 1988, be approved.
