<br />Cushman moved, Kehr seconded, that the Knights of
<br />Columbus request for a one day off-site gambling
<br />license at Central Park on July 4, 1989, and waiving
<br />of the 60 day waiting period be approved. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Matson, Kehr, Cushman, Johnson, and Rog. Nays:
<br />None.

<br />Cushman moved, Johnson seconded, that the proposed
<br />ordinance amendment regarding outside display of
<br />merchandise be referred to the July 17, 1989 Council
<br />work session, and continued to the July 24, 1989 City
<br />Council meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Matson, Kehr,
<br />Cushman, Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Matson moved, Cushman seconded, that the City Attorney
<br />be instructed to prepare a proposed ordinance amend-
<br />ment with changes regarding park land dedication for
<br />the June 26, 1989 city Council meeting. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Matson, Kehr, Cushman, and Johnson. Nays:
<br />Rog.

<br />Pat Johnson, Planning Commission chair, appeared
<br />before the Council to review the results of the Com-
<br />mission's planning retreat, and also her meeting
<br />with the Concordia neighbors.

<br />Cushman moved, Matson seconded, that Keith wietecki,
<br />2428 Farrington Circle, Roseville, Minnesota, be
<br />appointed to the Planning Commission for a four year
<br />term expiring on March 31, 1993. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Matson, Kehr, Cushman, and Rog. Nays: Johnson.
