<br />Matson moved, Johnson seconded, that the hearing on
<br />M-87-20, County Road B-2, from Snelling to Fairview and
<br />Fairview from County Road B-2 to County Road B, instal-
<br />lation of traffic signals and roadway modification, be
<br />continued to the August 28, 1989 city Council meeting.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Kehr, Cushman, Matson, and
<br />Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Johnson moved, Matson seconded, that the hearing on
<br />M-88-01, removal of Dutch Elm disease tree, be contin-
<br />ued to the August 28, 1989 City council meeting. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Johnson, Kehr, Cushman, Matson, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />Cushman moved, Matson seconded, that the hearing on
<br />SW-88-08, County Road B, between Snelling and Pascal at
<br />Har Mar, installation of sidewalk, be continued to the
<br />August 28, 1989 City Council meeting. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Johnson, Kehr, Cushman, Matson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Matson moved, Johnson seconded, that the closure of
<br />County Road C-2, between Fairview Avenue and Cleveland
<br />Avenue, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Kehr,
<br />Cushman, Matson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />ORGANIZATIONAL BUSINESS
<br />Johnson moved, Kehr seconded, that the City Manager
<br />be authorized to advertise for applicants to the Rice
<br />Creek Watershed District Board, and that interviews
<br />shall be conducted at the September 18 regular Council
<br />work session. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Kehr, Matson,
<br />and Rog. Nays: None. Cushman did not vote because
<br />she was out of the room at that time.

<br />Johnson moved, Matson seconded, that the Volunteer
<br />Commission Appreciation Banquet be held at the Holiday
<br />Inn in Roseville on Wednesday, October 18, 1989. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Johnson, Kehr, Matson, and Rog. Nays:
<br />None. Cushman did not vote because she was out of the
<br />room at that time.

<br />REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
<br />Cushman moved, Kehr seconded, that the North Suburban
<br />Youth Association application for a one day, off site
<br />gambling permit at 1078 Sherren street, Roseville,
<br />Minnesota, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson,
<br />Kehr, Cushman, and Rog. Nays: None. Abstain:
<br />Matson.

<br />Cushman moved, Kehr seconded, that the Roseville Area
<br />Youth Hockey Association application to conduct four
<br />(4) raffles at the Roseville V.F.W., 1145 Woodhill
<br />Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on December 4, 1989,
