<br />ORGANIZATIONAL BUSINESS
<br />Cushman moved, Johnson seconded, that a Council work
<br />session be established on Tuesday, April 24, beginning
<br />at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, for the purpose of inter-
<br />viewing applicants for the Human Rights Commission.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Johnson, Cushman, Thomas,
<br />and Rog. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Johnson moved, Cushman seconded, that the city council
<br />May, 1990 meeting schedule be as follows:
<br />
<br />May 14 - regular meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m.
<br />May 21 - regular work session beginning at 5:00 p.m.
<br />May 29 - regular meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m.

<br />Johnson moved, Maschka seconded, that Joseph Olson,
<br />2247 West Roselawn Avenue, be appointed to a three
<br />year term on the Police civil Service Commission,
<br />expiring on March 31, 1993. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka,
<br />Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Johnson moved, Maschka seconded, that the proposed
<br />1990 Police Contract settlement be approved, and the
<br />City Manager be authorized to sign the contract. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Maschka, Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, and
<br />Rog. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />COMMUNICATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS
<br />Cushman moved, Maschka seconded, that Resolution 8567,
<br />encouraging Roseville citizens to become informed
<br />about the proposed Ramsey County Home Rule Charter,
<br />and to vote on the issue in the November 6, 1990
<br />general election, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Maschka, Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, and Rog. Nays:
<br />None.

<br />REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
<br />Cushman moved, Johnson seconded, that James Moncur's
<br />request for a shoreline building permit at 294
<br />McCarrons Boulevard North be approved. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Maschka, Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, and Rog.
