<br />Thomas moved, Cushman seconded, that staff be directed
<br />to advertise for bids for a new 1991 Heavy Rescue
<br />Apparatus prior to 1991 Budget adoption. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, Johnson, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Maschka moved, Johnson seconded, that Mr. Charles
<br />Anderson's request for permit for a private water well
<br />for irrigation purposes at 303 S. Owasso Boulevard be
<br />approved with the condition that the new well be
<br />installed by a licensed well contractor in accordance
<br />with the Minnesota Department of Health regulations,
<br />and that the existing well be abandoned also consistent
<br />with the Health Department's requirements. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, Johnson, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />Cushman moved, Johnson seconded, that Resolution 8582,
<br />for a traffic signal investigation by Ramsey County
<br />and the Minnesota Department of Transportation for
<br />possible traffic signal installation at the intersec-
<br />tion of Rice street and S. Owasso Blvd., be adopted.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, Johnson,
<br />and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Thomas moved, Johnson seconded, that Resolution 8583,
<br />awarding the bid for Contract F, project M-P-90-15,
<br />Fairview Avenue improvements, to Ashbach Construction
<br />Company in the low bid amount of $603,712.80, be
<br />adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Cushman, Maschka,
<br />Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Johnson seconded, that Resolution 8584,
<br />awarding the bid for Contract G, project ST-89-20,
<br />Snelling/County Road C/Snelling Curve storm sewer to
<br />F. M. Frattalone Excavating in the low bid amount of
<br />$401,673.40, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas,
<br />Cushman, Maschka, Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.
