<br />P. Johnson moved, Goedeke seconded, that the interpre-
<br />tation of the provisions of section 18.000 of the
<br />Roseville zoning Ordinance--Shore Land Management
<br />regarding Charles Kadrie's request to expand his home
<br />and above ground deck at 1281 Josephine Road, be to
<br />deny any additional structural encroachment (from the
<br />existing house walls) toward the lake and find the
<br />partially constructed kitchen and deck structure
<br />addition in violation of the existing Shore Land
<br />Ordinance. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Cushman,
<br />Goedeke, P. Johnson, and V. Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Cushman moved, Maschka seconded, that a public
<br />improvement hearing for PMP Neighborhood 47, Midland
<br />Grove Road, city Project 93-16, be continued to the
<br />regular City Council meeting of Monday, January 24,
<br />1994. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Cushman, Goedeke, P.
<br />Johnson, and V. Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />ORGANIZATIONAL BUSINESS
<br />Cushman moved, Maschka seconded, that Resolution 8969,
<br />appointing Election Judges and Alternate Judges for
<br />the Primary Election to be held on September 21, 1993,
<br />and the General Election to be held on November 2,
<br />1993, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Cushman,
<br />Goedeke, P. Johnson, and V. Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that Public Works
<br />Administrative Policy 20-016, Operating Policy for
<br />Street widths for roadway reconstruction projects, be
<br />approved as amended. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka,
<br />Cushman, Goedeke, P. Johnson, and V. Johnson. Nays:
<br />None.

<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that staff be
<br />directed to research other benefit options for
<br />Employee Health Insurance Benefits and present those
<br />options to Council at a September meeting for final
<br />decision. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Cushman, Goedeke,
<br />P. Johnson, and V. Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
<br />Cushman moved, Goedeke seconded, that Resolution 8970,
<br />approving and certifying the proposed annual tax levy
<br />for the Fiscal Year beginning January 1, 1994, and
<br />ending December 31, 1994, to the County Auditor, be
<br />adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Cushman, Goedeke,
<br />P. Johnson, and V. Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Cushman moved, Goedeke seconded, that a public hearing
<br />on the proposed 1994 tax levy be established for
<br />November 29, 1993, 7:00 p.m., and December 13, 1993,
<br />7:00 p.m., for the final levy and budget approval.
