Johnson moved, wi ski seconded, that the YMCA <br />request for Garage Sale/Special Promotion permit at <br />1170 W. County Road B be approved with the following <br />exceptions to the Garage Sale Ordinance: <br /> <br />1. That the length of the sale extends more than <br />three (3) consecutive days (Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. <br />through Sunday at 11:00 a.m.). Hours may vary. <br /> <br />2. That storage and screening of material in the <br />front yard or storage in the residence will occur <br />for up to 48 hours prior to the actual sale. <br /> <br />3. That some of the materials sold at the site may be <br />donated or provided by off site friends, YMCA <br />members, and/or merchants. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: <br />and V. Johnson. <br /> <br />P. Johnson, Wiski, Goedeke, Mastel, <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />P. Johnson moved, Goedeke seconded, that Resolution <br />9101, relating to the administration and implementa- <br />tion of a Traffic Safety Grant by the Roseville Police <br />Department, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: P. Johnson, <br />Wiski, Goedeke, Mastel, and V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Goedeke moved, Mastel seconded, that award of bid for <br />the Arthur Street project, No. 94-06/94-09, and Twin <br />Lakes Regional Storm Water Pond, St-94-09, be con- <br />tinued to the regular City council meeting of Monday, <br />September 26, 1994. Roll Call, Ayes: P. Johnson, <br />Wiski, Goedeke, Mastel, and V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />P. Johnson moved, Mastel seconded, that Item D-4, Use <br />of Consultant for Park Planning, be moved to Item I-I <br />on the Agenda, Reports and Recommendations (continued, <br />if necessary). <br /> <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />YMCA GARAGE <br />SALE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />9101 <br /> <br />ARTHUR STREET <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />CONSULTANT FOR <br />PARK PLANNING <br /> <br />The meeting was recessed at 6:15 p.m. for a supper break. <br /> <br />The meeting was reconvened at 7:15 p.m. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS, RECOGNITIONS, AND PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Because the three citizens who were to receive Awards <br />of Commendation from the Roseville Police Department <br />for their accurate observations and prompt reporting <br />to police officers which aided in the successful <br />conclusion of the North Star Bank robbery case were <br />not able to attend this meeting, the presentation will <br />be rescheduled for another meeting. <br /> <br />Thornton Gable, 1200 W.
