<br />Roseville City council Minutes <br />March 27, 1995 <br /> <br />E. <br />E-1 <br /> <br />F. <br />F-1 <br /> <br />REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Goedeke moved, wiski seconded, that the proposed plan, <br />as presented at the March 27, 1995 city council <br />meeting, be approved as the official Bruce Russell <br />Park Master Plan, and authorizing the City Manager to <br />enter into a new agreement with Roseville Lutheran <br />Church that cancels the current lease for the <br />greenway, but would allow the city to again lease the <br />greenway any time in the next two years, with the <br />process including meetings with the neighbors and <br />having staff use their best efforts with Roseville <br />Lutheran Church to include all elements of the Master <br />Plan with the swapping of the basketball courts/green <br />area, and parking to be implemented when the addi- <br />tional expansion of parking triggers a new parking <br />lot. Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, Goedeke, and V. <br />Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Items E-2 through E-8 under "REPORTS AND RECOMMENDA- <br />TIONS" were moved to Section I. REPORTS AND <br />RECOMMENDATIONS (Continued, if necessary). <br /> <br />Goedeke moved, wiski seconded, that the meeting be <br />recessed at 6:15 p.m. and reconvened in Executive <br />Session for the purpose of reviewing the disputed cost <br />of cleanup for contaminated soils at the Midwest Great <br />Dane site. Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, Goedeke, and V. <br />Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />The meeting was recessed at 7:00 p.m. for a supper <br />break. <br /> <br />The meeting was reconvened at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS, RECOGNITIONS, AND PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Mr. Charles Benson, of Hamline Liquor, who was to <br />appear before the city Council to appeal an <br />administrative citation, was not present. Police <br />Chief Zelinsky stated he would contact Mr. Benson to <br />see if there was a miscommunication of the meeting <br />date and time with Council. If this is the case, Mr. <br />Benson would have the opportunity to appear before <br />Council at an upcoming meeting. <br /> <br />wiski moved, Goedeke seconded, that Mr. Benson's <br />license be suspended indefinitely, subject to <br />reinstatement upon payment of a $150 fine. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: wiski, Goedeke, and V. Johnson. Aldine, stated he would prefer AL SANDS <br />that all city Council meetings be held in the evening <br />beginning later than 5:30 p.m. so the working public <br />would be able to attend, and also asked Council to <br />consider having City elections in even numbered years. <br />
