REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br />F-l Mastel moved, Wiski seconded, that a grant in the amount of$l,OOO from MERVYN'S OF <br />Mervyn's of California, presented to the Roseville Police Department by Nancy CALIFORNIA <br />Nicholson, District Asset Protection Manager; Bryan Treat, Field Asset <br />Protection Manager; and Wes Haines, Store Manager, of Mervyn's at Rosedale <br />to purchase teaching aids and materials for a future Youth Police Academy and <br />a proposed Safety Camp 97 for Kids, be approved. A. Associates, L. L. C. <br />and authorizing the Mayor and City Manager to execute the agreement on <br />behalf of the City after final review by the City Attorney, be adopted. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: Mastel, Maschka, Wiski, and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Mastel moved, Maschka seconded, that Resolution 9433, authorizing a <br />$567,660 Taxable Tax Increment Revenue Note of 1997 (Fairview H. A. <br />Associates, L.L.C. Project) and providing for its issuance be adopted. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: Mastel, Maschka, Wiski, and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Council agreed to move to G-l, Recognitions, of the Council Agenda at this <br />time, with Items F -4 through F -7 moved to Reports and Recommendations <br />(Continued if necessary) . <br /> <br />G. <br />G-l <br /> <br />RECOGNITIONS <br />Police Chief Paul Wood introduced and congratulated Sergeant Carol Sletner, <br />who recently graduated with honors from the FBI National Academy in <br />Quantico, Virginia.
