<br />Roseville City Council Minutes <br />August 24, 1998 <br /> <br />1-4 <br /> <br />(Formerly 1-5) <br />Mastel moved, Maschka seconded, that Roger Krause's request for a variance <br />to increase the lot coverage to 37.5% of the required rear lot for the purpose <br />of constructing a 26' x 26' replacement garage at 1306 Ryan Avenue West and <br />a variance to reduce the setback of a driveway to 3' for the purpose of bringing <br />an existing driveway into compliance and allowing the extension of said <br />driveway to access the new garage, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, <br />Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />1-5 <br /> <br />(Formerly 1-6) <br />Goedeke moved, Maschka seconded, that James Christensen's request for a <br />variance to increase the coverage of the required rear yard from 25% to 44.8% <br />for the purpose of constructing a 28' x 36' detached garage at 669 Shryer <br />A venue, and a variance to allow the placement of an accessory building in the <br />front yard area of a through lot (facing Skillman), provided said garage is set <br />back the same distance from the right-of-way as the adjacent garage along <br />Skillman Avenue, be denied. Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, Mastel, Maschka, <br />Goedeke, and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Wiski moved, Mastel seconded, that Item 1-8, Robert Schroeder's request for <br />variance from City Code Section 1011.02, to allow the construction of a <br />12' x 32' addition to a pre-existing, nonconforming residential structure on a <br />lake shore lot at 257 McCarrons Boulevard, pending approval from the <br />Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, be moved to become Item 1-7 <br />and Item 1-7, Suzanne Wild's request for a variance to increase the width of a <br />commercial curb cut from 36' to 55' for the purpose of retaining off street <br />parking spaces at 2960 Snelling Avenue North, become Item 1-8. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Wiski, Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />1-7 <br /> <br />(Formerly 1-3, 1-6, and 1-7) <br />Mastel moved, Wiski seconded, that Robert Schroeder's request for variance <br />from City Code Section 1011.02, to allow the construction of a 12' x 32' <br />addition to a pre-existing, nonconforming residential structure on a lake shore <br />lot at 257 McCarrons Boulevard, pending approval from the Minnesota Depart- <br />ment of Natural Resources, be approved with the following provision: <br /> <br />1.
