<br />He discussed the history of the project, the reasons for the
<br />Hwy 36 Lighting
<br />project, and MnDOT?s outreach mistakes. He apologized for the
<br />mistakes and discussed that MnDOT is doing to address the light
<br />pollution, such as light shields. Maschka asked about the light
<br />readings. Kysylyczyn commented about the City cooperating with
<br />residents and MnDOT.
<br />The Council entertained citizen comments.Roseville resident,
<br />Merlyn Scroggins commended City Council and Staff; and made
<br />suggestions to MnDOT staff. Robert Morgan, 2218 West
<br />Highway 36, asked for improved MnDOT communication.David
<br />Nelson, 2280 West Highway 36, commented about light readings
<br />and the winter situation with the new lighting. Tom Dunwell, 2253
<br />St. Croix, commented about MnDOT communication with the City
<br />and its residents, suggested MnDOT remove some fixtures and
<br />install new lenses on the remainder. Frank Pafko promised a
<br />clean and complete demolition, to meet with area residents, and
<br />to use Roseville lighting standards as a guidance. Roll Call,
