SECTION 2 - 12 GAS BURNERS: . Gas burners of all types shall consist of aSEembled and tested units and sha.ll be accompanied b,y complete and comprehensive installation and operation 1nstructions. The burner or burners shall be lo.cated according to the manu- facturers' instructions and shall be so secured that they will not twist, slide or drop out of position. . SECTION 2 - 12.1 The burners shall be so installed as to be readily accessible for cleaning and inspection. SECTION 2 - 12.2 The burner or burners shall be 80 installed that no part of the flames impinge on the heating surfs.ce so as to cause incomplete combustion. SECTION 2 - 13.1 Where an automatic secondary air control is provided, the construction shall be such that, in case the control fails in ~y way, either the gas will be shut off or the secondary air door will remain open. SECTION 2 - 13.2 I The air intake of power burners shall be so ~ocated as to prevent the possibility or accidental closure. The gas and air supply shall be equipped with controls coordinated to prevent opening of the gas supply until ,the, air supply is adequate for proper combustion and to shut off the gas supply in the event of failure of the air supply.
