If the cost of this en~ineer- <br />lng work exceeds the aInount deposited, the additional money must be paid <br />by the developer uhen the final plats arc submitted to the Village Clerk <br />for his signature. <br /> <br />DSSTGN, GENERAL <br />EXGcpt whore it is necessary to construct ditches to preserve or create <br />adoquate drain aGo facilities, the design of 1llillage streets shall be based <br />upon. a so-called village section using a gutter which vlill be located <br />approximately 15 feet each side of the center Ii no and a berm or sidewalk <br />bench betueen the gutter and the property line. All slopes botl1oen the <br />so-called berm and the natural ground shall be constructed by the developer <br />outside of the right of way and the mmer shall furnish the Village Council <br />with a letter guaranteeing this construction of slopes previous to sub- <br />mi t ting the final plats for approval. <br /> <br />SECTION 5 <br /> <br />S2;CTION 6 <br /> <br />CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENTS <br />After the Village Council has received and accepted the plans, specifica- <br />tions and report of its engineer for the construction of streets,and the <br />drainaGe of the property, the owner shall be required to sign an a"reement <br />with the Village Council to perform all of the necessary construction work <br />at his olm expense in accordance Hi th tho said plans and specifications <br />and to the satisfaction of the Village Engineer. In' any proposed plat <br />all grading work shall be completed and accepted by the Village Council <br />previous to the recording of the final plat. If it is impossible to perform <br />such vwrk previous to filine the final plats, the developer shall post <br />with the VillaGe Council a performance bond equal in amount to the enginp.er1s <br />entimatc for such work, which shall guarantee said construction within one <br />year. Surfacing shall be completed vJhen and as directed b; the Village <br />Counc&l hlt no stroet l-rUl be accepted for maintenanGe until surfacinb has <br />boen provided as set forU} in Section No. 7 beloH.
