He <br />shall be particularly qualified to inspect and pass upon installations of gas burner <br />equipment, <br /> <br />The Heating Inspector shall not engage in the business of the installation or <br />~aintenance of heating equipment mither directly or indirectly in this municipality <br />and he shall have no financial interest in any concern engaged in such business in <br />this municipality. <br /> <br />It shall be the duty of the Heating Inspector to enforce the provisions of this <br />code. He shall inspect. all of the work covered in that part of this code rela- <br />tive to or incmdaDtal with the installation of heating equipment of any land. <br /> <br />Any inspector appointed by the governing body of the municipality shall receive as <br />compensation for his services such fees or salary as the governing body by reso- <br />lution shall provide. . <br /> <br />li.llY inspector shall have the right during reasonable hours to enter any building <br />in the discharge of his duties, or for the purpose of making any inspection which <br />he might deem necessary in the perforrnance of his particular duties. <br /> <br />Any person or persons who shall interfere with the inspectors in the execution of <br />their duties, as defined by t;iis code, shall upon conviction thereof, be subject <br />to the penalties prOvided herein. <br /> <br />1-23 The inspectors shall, when necessary, call upon the police authorities of the <br />municipality for assistance in enforcing any of the provisions of this code. <br /> <br />1-24 The inspector shall have authori tJr to recom.i/lend the employment by the governing <br />body of such technical or expert consultants as ~ight become necessary to insure <br />proper construction and public safety. <br /> <br />1-25 In the absence of any :Lnspector other than the building inspector and excepting the <br />duties of the electrical inspector, all of the inspections and responsibilities <br />mentioned in this code as being delegated to any or all of such inspectors shall <br />be assumed by thu building inspector. <br /> <br />-)- <br />
