<br />a part of its obligations under this Ordinance. The Village of Arden <br />Hills shall cohstruct service connections from subject sewer on County <br />Road liD" to its properties on the North Side of eounty R.oad "D" and <br />lying between Snelling and Hamline Avenues. <br /> <br />SECTION VI. <br /> <br />The Village of Arden Hills shall maintain and operate subject joint <br />lift station to accomplish the receiving the lifting of sewage from the <br />aforedescribed portion of Village of Roseville through aforesaid joint <br />lift station. The Village of Roseville shall share in the cost of the <br />operation and maintenance of this lift station and including electrical <br />cost for pumping to the extent of one-third of such operation and <br />maintenance cost. <br /> <br />In the erent that the said lift station requires extensive or unusual <br />maintenance or repairs, the Village of Roseville shall share in such <br />repair costs to the extent and proportion comparable with the usage of <br />such lift station by the Village of Roseville but this shall not apply <br />to ordinary maintenance and operation costs of said lift station. <br /> <br />SECTION VII. <br /> <br />That said Village of Arden Hills shall not permit any connections to <br />be made to its said public sanitary sewer system in respect to any property <br />lying beyond the limits of the area described in this Ordinance, and that no <br />connection other than the hereinabove expressly approved connections shall <br />be permitted and authorized without further express authorization therefore <br />by the CotUlcil of the Village of Roseville and further by the Council of <br />the City of st. Paul. <br /> <br />SECT ION VIII. <br /> <br />That said Village of Arden Hills public sanitar,y sewer system as the <br />same shall be constructed and as the same shall be connected with said <br />Village of Roseville public sanitary sewer system, shall carry only sanitary <br />sewage flow as limited to domestic and industrial waste from houses and other <br />structures exclusive from storm and ground water drainage. That said Village <br />of Arden Hills shall by the adoption and employment of suitable methods effect <br />minimum acceptable standards as to the amount of infiltration of surface and <br />ground water in respect to its public sanitary sewer system, and shall further <br />prohibi t the types of waste discharged into its public sanitary system by <br />compliance with appropriate sections of Village of Roseville Ordinance No. 218 <br />adopted on September 4, 1956. The Village of Arden Hills, to insure that the <br />sewers constructed in their public sanitary sewer system shall exclude as <br />nearly as possible all ground waters, shall require that all sewers constructed <br />shall limit ground water infiltration to the amount of 500 gallons per inch <br />diameter of pipe per mile of length of pipe per 24 hours and shall determine <br />such infiltration quantities on a block by block basis. <br />
