<br />14.270. Sign Regulations in "B-1" Districts. Within <br />the "B-1" Districts only name plate signs and business signs are <br />permitted and the following regulations shall apply: <br /> <br />14.271. The number of square feet in the gross surface <br />area of all signs on a lot shall not exceed the sum of three (3) <br />square feet for each dwelling unit, plus one (1) square foot for <br />each one hundred (100) square feet of gross floor area allocated <br />to a permitted non-residential use, plus one (1) square foot for <br />each three hundred (300) square feet of land devoted to off-street <br />parking. No individual sign surface shall exceed seventy (70) <br />square feet in area, nor shall two (2) or more smaller signs be <br />so arranged and integrated as to cause a sign surface in excess <br />of seventy (70) square feet. <br /> <br />14.272. No sign shall project more than eighteen (18) <br />inches across a required front yard or required side yard. <br /> <br />14.273. No sign shall project higher than twenty-five <br />(25) feet above average grade at the building line, or the height <br />of the building whichever is greater. <br /> <br />14.274. Flashing and rotating signs shall not be per- <br />mitted in "B_I" Districts. <br /> <br />14.275. Advertising signs shall not be permitted in <br />"B-1" Districts. <br /> <br />14.276. Illuminated signs shall be permitted. <br /> <br />14.28U. Sign Regulations in "B-2", "B-3" and "se" <br />Districts. Within the "B-2", "B-3" and "se" Districts only name <br />plate signs and business signs are permitted and the following <br />regulations shall apply: <br /> <br />14.281. The gross surface area of all business signs <br />on a lot shall not exceed the sum of three (3) square feet per <br />front foot of building, plus one (1) square foot for each foot <br />of public right-of-way fifty (50) feet or more in width abutting <br />the side of the structure. The least width of a corner lot shall be <br />the front for purposes of this Ordinance. No individual business <br />sign surface shall exceed one hundred (100) square feet in area, <br />nor shall two (2) or more smaller signs be so arranged and integrated <br />as to cause a gross surface area of over one hundred (100) square feet. <br />
