<br />114. 104. Regulation of Taxicab Fares. The Village Council <br />may by resolution regulate the minimum and maximum fares to be <br />charged by any public vehicle regulated under this chapter. Before the <br />regulated fare shall take effect, the Village Clerk shall mail certified <br />copies of said resolution to each license holder at the address shown on <br />thelicense and said fare shall then take effect ten (10) days following <br />certification by the Village Clerk that he has mailed said resolutions as <br />hereinbefore required. <br /> <br />114.105. License Revocation. Public vehicle licenses may be <br />revoked by the Village Council at any time for cause, after hearing, or <br />may be suspended by the Chief of Police provided that the Chief of Police <br />shall present charges against the license holder to be heard at the meeting <br />of the Village Council immediately following such suspension of license. <br />Otherwise, said suspension shall terminate. <br /> <br />114. 106. Conduct of Drivers. It shall be unlawful for any driver <br />to solicit patronage in loud, noisy or boisterous tone of voice, or manner, <br />or to lay hands upon the person or baggage of any person without the consent <br />of such person, or to obstruct the movement of any person, or to follow any <br />person for the purpose of soliciting patronage. <br /> <br />114.107. Use of Vehicle for Illegal Purposes. It shall be unlawful <br />for any driver of any public vehicle to permit any person to occupy or use <br />such vehicle for the purpose of prostitution, lewdness, or assignation, or to <br />direct, take or transport, or offer or agree to direct, take or transport any <br />other person with knowledge or reasonable cause to know that the purpose of <br />such directing, taking or transporting is prostitution, lewdness or assignation. <br /> <br />114. 108. Unlawful Operation of Vehicle. No driver or owner of <br />any public vehicle licensed under the provisions of this chapter shall permit <br />or allow more persons to ride in said vehicle than is provided for by its <br />normal seating capacity. <br /> <br />114. 109. Drivers Shall Have Permits. No person shall drive a <br />public vehicle, and no person, firm or co-partnership or corporation shall <br />permit any employee to drive a public vehicle licensed hereunder without <br />such employee having first obtained therefor a driver's permit under the <br />provisions of this chapter. <br /> <br />114. 110.
