<br />254. Miscellaneous Regulations <br />254.010. Travel Expenses. On Village business an <br />employee will be reimbursed for his travel expenses. In order <br />to receive such reimbursement, the employee shall, immediately <br />upon return to work, fill out the appropriate claims form and <br />submit it to the Village Clerk. <br />254.020. Car Expense. An employee required to use his <br />personal automobile on Village business shall be reimbursed <br />at the rate of $.075 per mile driven. Claims for mileage <br />shall designate date of travel, purpose of travel, and miles <br />traveled. <br />254.030. Village Tools and Equipment. <br />(1) Village Tools and equipment shall not be used for <br />anything other than Village purposes unless approved by the <br />Village Council. <br />(2) Village tools charged out to any employee upon a <br />written receipt which are lost or broken through misuse of the <br />employee shall be replaced at the employee's expense. <br />254.040. Outside Employment. Outside employment is <br />discouraged for all full-time employees. In any event, an <br />employee must have the approval of his department head before <br />obtaining outside employment. An employee must keep his <br />department head notified of his outside employer's name and <br />address, the hours of his work, and a description of his duties. <br />254.050. Political Activity.
