<br />(3) A temporary employee transferred to a regular position <br />will be given service credit for continuous service prior to <br />such transfer. <br />(4) A part-time regular employee will receive service <br />credit by converting his part-time employment to equivalent <br />adjusted full-time service. <br />252.020. Vacation Policy. The objective of vacation <br />policy is to provide employees with a period of rest and <br />relaxation. Vacation will be granted to eligible employees <br />according to earned service credit. <br />252.030. Legal Holidays Occurring During Vacation Period. <br />When a recognized holiday falls on a working day during an <br />employee's vacation, the day of the holiday will not be <br />counted as a day of vacation. <br />252.040. Rate of Accumulation. <br />(1) Regular employees and regular part-time employees <br />who accumulate one year of service credit will be eligible for <br />five days of paid vacation the following year. <br />(2) Regular employees and regular part-time employees <br />who accumulate two years of service credit will be eligible <br />for ten days of paid vacation the following year. <br />(3) Regular employees and regular part-time employees <br />who accumulate ten years of service credit will be eligible <br />for fifteen days of paid vacation the following year. <br />252.050.
