<br />period the employee's department head may recommend to the Village <br /> <br />Manager that an empbyee be transferred or dismissed if his position is <br /> <br />discontinued or if his performance does not meet the required standards. <br /> <br />Probationary employees shall not be entitled to the rights granted under <br /> <br />Chapter 252, except for the right to paid official holidays. <br /> <br />Section 250.090 shall read as follows: <br /> <br />250.090. Completion of Probationary Period. At least three <br /> <br />weeks prior to completion of the probationary period, the department head shall <br /> <br />review the performance of a probationary employee and notify the Villcge <br /> <br />Manager of his recommendations. Failure of the Village Manager to act <br /> <br />on the recommendations shall result in the employee automatically <br /> <br />becoming a regular employee. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />The Village Code of the Village of Roseville is hereby amended <br /> <br />by amending Chapter 251 as follows: <br /> <br />Section 251.020 shall read as follows: <br /> <br />251. 020. Discharge, Demotions, and Suspension by Village <br /> <br />Manager. The Village Manager may dismiss, demote, or suspend any <br /> <br />employee. At the request of the employee, the reason for any dismissal, <br /> <br />demotion or suspension shall be given the employee in writing. <br /> <br />Section 251.030 shall be, and hereby is repealed in its <br /> <br />entirety. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
