<br />Section 2202. Sheathing. Sheathing shall be required on all <br /> <br />exterior walls and shall be one or more of the following materials: <br /> <br />Wood not less than three-fourths inch (3/4") thick. <br /> <br />Fiberboard not less than twenty-five thirty-seconds inch <br />(25-32") thick complying with U .B.C. Standard No. 22-1-61. <br /> <br />Plywood not less than one-half inch (1/2") thick complying <br />with U. B. C. Standard. <br /> <br />Insulated Strong board (Brand name) or equivalent not less <br />than one-half inch 0/2 ") thick. <br /> <br />Section 2802 (b) Protection of Adjoining Property. Any person <br /> <br />making or causing an excavation to be made a depth of twelve feet (12') <br /> <br />or less, below grade, shall protect the excavation so that the soil of the <br /> <br />adjoining property will not cave in or settle and may be liable for the <br /> <br />expense of underpinning or extending the foundation of building on <br /> <br />adjoining property where his excavation necessitates such work. <br /> <br />Section 2507 (a) 4. Spacing. Spacing shall be amended <br /> <br />to require sixteen inche s (161) in one- story detached building s of Group j <br /> <br />Occupancy. <br /> <br />Section 2515 (e) Plywood Subflooring. Shall be amended so <br /> <br />as to require all plywood, where used as structural subflooring. to be a <br /> <br />minimum thickness of five-eighths inch (5/8") or greater if required in <br /> <br />Table No. 25-n. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
