<br />34.280. Restrictions Against Exterior Walls Lying Below <br /> <br /> <br />the Ground. Except in the "R-1". "R-2" and "R-3" Districts, no dwelling <br /> <br /> <br />unit shall be so constructed as to have more than forty (40) percent of the <br /> <br />unit's exterior wall below ground. Continuous window wells or other <br /> <br />selective excavation shall not be used to circumvent this restriction. <br /> <br />Areas which do not qualify as dwelling units because of this restriction <br /> <br />may be used for amusement recreation, storage, utilities or parking <br /> <br />facilitie s. <br /> <br />34.290. Soil Tests Required. Wherever unusual soil <br /> <br />conditions exist, soil borings will be taken by the developer at the <br /> <br />reque st of the Village Building Inspector. <br /> <br />35.460. Storage Space Requirement. A minimum of 96 <br /> <br />cubic feet of miscellaneous storage space shall be provided for each <br /> <br />dwelling in these areas I "R-3", IR-3A", "R-4", "R-5", "R-6" and "R-7 ~ <br /> <br />within the principal structure containing such unit. Such space shall be <br /> <br />in addition to normal storage space provided in wardrobes, cabinets and <br /> <br />clothes or linen closets. <br /> <br />35.465. Exterior Wall Requirements for Surfacing. All <br /> <br />multiple dwelling buildings shall be designed and constructed to have <br /> <br />the equivalent of a front on each exterior surface. All accessory or <br /> <br />ancillary buildings including garages shall be designed and constructed <br /> <br />with facing materials of substantially the same materials as the principal <br /> <br />use building and such materials shall be used in the same or better <br /> <br />proportions a s in such principal building. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
