M. on the <br />......day of ......, 19....., the same will be sold or <br />killed as provided by law. <br /> <br />Signed................Poundmaster <br /> <br />The act of sale or killing of the dog or cat shall be <br />the 4th day after the posting of the notice unless that <br />date falls on a Sunday or holiday, in which case it shall <br />be the following date. <br /> <br />145.080 Redemption. Any dog may be redeemed from <br />the pound by the owner within the time stated in the <br />notice by the payment to the Clerk of the license fee <br />for the current year with an impounding fee of $3.00 and <br />$1.50 for each day the dog is confined in the pound as <br />the cost of feeding. Any cat may be redeemed from the <br />pound by the owner within the time stated in the notice <br />by payment to the Clerk of an impounding fee of $3.00 <br />and $1.50 for each day the cat is confined in the pound <br />as the cost of feeding. <br /> <br />145.090 Release. Upon the presentation of a <br />correct license tag and a receipt for a dog license for the <br />current year and for the fees provided in Section 145.080, <br />or in the case of a cat, a receipt for the fees provided <br />in Section 145.080, the poundmaster shall release to any <br />owner the dog or cat claimed by him. <br /> <br />145.110 Disposition of Unclaimed Doqs and Cats. <br />Any dog or cat which is not claimed within 5 days after <br />impounding may be sold for not less than the amount provided <br />in Section 145.080 to anyone desiring to purchase the dog <br />or cat, if not requested by a licensed educational scientific <br />institution under Minnesota Statutes Section 35.71. All sums <br />received above the costs and tax shall be held by the Clerk <br />for the benefit of the owner and if not claimed in one year, <br />such funds shall be placed in the general fund of the <br />Village. Any dog or cat which is not claimed by the owner <br />or sold shall be painlessly killed. <br /> <br />145.130 Confinement of Doqs and Cats. No dog or <br />cat shall be allowed by its owner to run at large, and <br />every dog or cat in heat shall be placed by its owner in a <br />kennel and so kept and confined during such entire period <br />
