<br />71.020. Residential Rates. Charges for sewer service <br />shall be at the following rates for the following residen- <br />tial classifications: <br /> <br />(1) Single Family Residence: $22.00 per year. <br /> <br />(2) Duplexes or double bungalows containing two <br />family units: $44.00 per year. <br /> <br />(3) Each townhouse unit: $22.00 per year. <br /> <br />(4) Each trailer unit: $22.00 per year. <br /> <br />(5) Multiple Dwellings (three or more units except <br />townhouses): $16.50 per unit per year. <br /> <br />71.030. Commercial and Industrial Rates. <br /> <br />(1) The sewer rates for commercial, industrial, institu- <br />tional and all other users not covered by Section 71.020 shall <br />be upon a volumetric charge based upon water consumption as <br />follows: A sewer charge of 25~ for each 1,000 gallons, or <br />part thereof, of water consumption during the winter quarter <br />water billing, subject to a minimum charge of $5.50 per quarter. <br /> <br />(2) "Winter quarter" water billing means that three <br />month quarterly period in which the month of January is <br />billed. <br /> <br />(3) Where the winter quarter water meter reading is <br />not available, an estimated charge shall be paid based upon <br />the last quarterly water billing, which will be adjusted <br />when the winter quarter water billing is available. <br /> <br />(4) Where water consumption is subject to wide seasonal <br />variations, adjustments will be made. <br /> <br />(5) All owners and occupants of buildings that are <br />not connected to the municipal water system, and are to be <br />charged on a volumetric basis under this section shall, by <br />April 1, 1969, install a meter on their water supply, which <br />will accurately measure water consumption. The meter shall <br />be of a type approved by the Public Works Director and <br />maintained in good operating condition without expense to <br />the Village. <br />
