-2=

Mr. Sharood, attorney, appeared with Mrs. Maynard at this meeting and stated they
would agree to dedicate 30 feet for Ryan Avenue, but could not agree to dedicate 60
feet for the continuation of Draper Avenue and 10 feet to widen Roselawn Avenue.
It was the consensus of opinion that the conditions requested previously, namely,

I. Dedicate 30 feet for widening Ryan Avenue
2. Dedicate 60 feet for Draper Avenue
3. Dedicate lO feet to widen Roselawn Avenue should not be reduced.

It was, therefore, moved by Nelson, seconded by Soike, that the conditions previously
recommended to the Village Council remain as is. Carried by a unanimous vote.

File 64-228 = Preliminary Plat by David Tilton, l20l Josephine Road.

Anderson moved, Nelson seconded, that we recommend the approval of this preliminary plat
on the condition that the Village Engineer check the drainage and approves. Carried
by a unanimous vote.

File 64=23l - Division of Lot = John Kennedy, 1798 North Lexington Avenue.

Dr. Kennedy stated that he wanted to construct a building on the south 1/2 of the lot
recently zoned B-l. The request to split this lot was caused by the lending institution
wanting a clear title on the name of the Kennedys before they would place a mortgage on
that one half of the lot. This request seemed reasonable. Dro Kennedy stated he plans
to construct another building on the north 1/2 later on and he promised when the time
comes, he will move the house presently located on this north half of the lot.
Membrez movedv Soike seconded, that we recommend the division of this lot as requested.
Carried by a unanimous vote.

File 64=232 = Preliminary plat North Hills Addition by A. Anderson, 2193 Dellwood.

Mr. Robert So Peterson, Treasurer of North Hills, appeared on behalf of Anderson.
This plat was very well done and met all the requirements of the ordinance; therefore,
Soike movedo Anderson seconded, that we recommend the approval of the plat as submitted.
Carried by a unanimous vote.

File 64-230 - Vacation of Rose Place from Oellwood to Fernwood.

Mr. Jensen, abutting property owner, strongly requested the vacation of this street.
He was of the opinion that it could never be improved because it is subject to flooding.
After considerable discussion, Anderson moved, Nelson seconded, that we recommend
the vacation of this street; subject, however, to a report of the Village Engineer as
to the possible future drainage of the area. Carried by a unanimous vote.

File 64-227 = Rezoning request by M. Reinhardt, 815 Cope Avenue.

Mr. Reinhardt made this request hoping he may be allowed to build a double bungalow on
this lot. Mrs. Anna Bazille and Mro Shymanski both living on Cope Avenue were
opposed to this rezoning. Soike moved, Lund seconded, that we recommend the request
be denied. Carried by unanimous vote.
