This request covers 32 acres.
Seven acres at the southwest corner (northeast corner of Cleveland and County Road C-2)
of the property would be left for ponding. This leaves 24 acres of property to be
built on. The buildings would be one story with no basements and the six buildings
would be 37,000 - 45,000 - 45,000 - 48,000 - 30,000 - 37,000 square feet in area.
The cost would be 3-1/2 to 4 million dollars. There is a national firm that is inter-
ested in leasing the south part of the area if the property is rezoned. No committments
as yet, however.

Mr. Arnold Klatt, 2027 West County Road D, wanted to know what were our plans for his
six acre triangle of the east side of this property. He stated that he wanted his
property rezoned. Mr. Brun, 2891 Arthur Place, said that this was residential when
he bought his property which goes to within 170' of Prior extended, which is the east
side of the property in question. Was interested in the view of the wild land across
the lake from him. He stated that he has two fronts to his house and that they were
opposed to the rezoning. Mr. Edward McCarthy, 1894 W. County Road C-2 was opposed to
the rezoning.

It waS pointed out that the houses on the south side of County Road C-2 opposite to
this property are non-conforming use in land zoned I-l.

It was moved by Remsburg and seconded by Carpenter that we recommend to the Council that
they approve the request for rezoning from R-l to 1-1 at Cleveland and County Road C-2
as requested, subject to finalizing of the purchase of the ponding area by the Village
of Roseville. He stated that there would be 96 units in
three buildings. Of these 4S would be two bedroom units and 51 would be one bedroom
units. The buildings would be of the french mansard design. There would be under-
ground garages and the surface parking would be kept away from the north side of the
property. The access would be from Victoria only. Nothing to Lovell.

Mr. Bob Averback had a petition where he represented 21 of the 22 people that he
contacted. tIe said they were interested in the access to the property and that we
don't allow blacktopping north of the north building line. They were in favor of the
rezoning. Mrs. Cook was wondering about access and what would happen to her property
when the overpass was put in. It WaS pointed out the access could be put on the west
side of her property as there was enough space there. Mr. Lewis Cook and Mrs. Chapple,
842 Lovell, also spoke.
