He stated that the Bridgeman Co.
had looked at a number of sites in the Roseville area before choosing this particular one.
He made reference to the "701" Plan which shows somewhat of an extension of commercial
development around this property. Mr. Boss indicated that he had prepared the petition
of signatures in the immediate area. Mr. Boss stated that the entrance to the store would
face south and that deliveries to the store would be made on the west entrance, and that
there would be no incenerator located in the store, that the removal of rubbish would be
through a dumpster system with a rubbish hauler. He further stated that the exterior of the
building would be brick on all sides and that the roof would be asphalt shingle.

Discussion

Mr. Robert Margo, 1123 Ruggles, read a statement signed by 13 residents in the area of
Lexington and Ruggles Street which indicated the type of development they would like to see
in that area, also specifying the hours that this particular building would be in operation.
The statement further indicated that the business should be somewhat similar to those in the
area nowi namely, Schorn's T.V., Applebaums Super Market and the Kennedy Medical Building.
Mr. Roy Holm, 1124 Ruggles, stated that he was opposed to the store, to the inevitable
problems of lights and traffic and flies and conceivably rats that could be attracted to
this area.
Dr. John Kennedy, the Kennedy Medical Clinic, stated that he was not opposed to this part-
icular business, that he would like to state some conceivable problems that could develop
from such an enterprise.
