Mr. Pothen indicated that he had placed a down <br />payment on this particular lot sometime in August and that he would now like to proceed with <br />the development of this lot. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Keith Boyle, 1325 West Roselawn Avenue, indicated that he was not in favor of granting <br />these variances. That the lot was too small and not compatible with the rest of the area. <br />He stated that the other residences in the area had purchased two lots in order to accomplish <br />the building of the home. <br />Mr. Don Mill, 1311 Roselawn, indicated that he was opposed to the variances because of the <br />size of the lot. <br />Mr. Thomas Hagen, 910 Huron, stated he was also opposed to the small lot and that one reason <br />he came to Roseville was to get away from the crowded conditions of the small lots. <br />Mr. Mercedes Felix, 1910 North Hamline Avenue, indicated that she was also opposed to the <br />small lot. <br />Mr. William Olson, 1911 Dellwood Avenue, indicated his opposition to this variance because of <br />the small lot also. <br />Mr. Joseph Felix, 1910 Hamline Avenue, also opposed to the variances due to the small lot. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />CARPENTER MOVED, POPE SECONDED, TIiAT THE REQUEST BY LEO POTHEN FOR VARIANCE TO LOT WIDTH AND <br />AREA AT 1319 WEST ROSELAWN AVENUE BE DENIED. ROLL CALL, AYES: CARPENTER, DEMOS, POPE, <br />EDLUND, MEMBREZ. NAYS: NONE. <br /> <br />PLANNING FILE 546-69 - WARREN CARLSON REQUEST FOR VARIANCE TO SIDE YARD SETBACK AT <br />2753 AGLEN STREET <br /> <br />Presentation <br />T <br /> <br />Mr. Carlson stated that he would like to add a 14 x 24 foot family room on to the north side <br />of his property and that this would now leave a 12 foot distance between the proposed family <br />room and the street right of way. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Allen Mathiason, 2752 Aglen, indicated his support for i-Ir.
