<br />Planning File 645-71 <br /> <br />Deluxe Check Printers request <br />at 2199 North Pascal Avenue <br /> <br />::- variance to parking setback <br /> <br />The Cormnission took no action on this request in view of the fact that Deluxe Check <br />Printers has requested withdrawal of their application. <br /> <br />Planning File 647-71 - Victor Vik request for variance on frontage of platted lot at <br />2787 North Oxford Street <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Memorez indicated that he had been contacted by Mro Vik. Hr. Vik had requested <br />that the application be laid over t.n1til the next Commission meeting since he had not <br />yet prepared a proposal to present to the Commission. <br /> <br />Recomnendation <br /> <br />Mr. Eagles moved and Mr. Kellett seconded, that Victor Vik's request for variance on <br />frontage of platted lot at 2787 North Oxford Street be laid over until the next regular <br />Commission meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Pope, Eagles, Demos, Kellett, Edlund and Membrez. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 650-71 - Viola Kloskin preliminary plat "Vi's Lakeshore" at 515 South <br />Owasso Roulevard <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Fred Zwar of Allstate Properties represented Mrs. Kloskino Mr. Membrez pointed out <br />several problems in the proposed preliminary plat including lot width, lot depth, lot <br />square footage and width of streets. Mr. Membrez expressed concern that there were too <br />many problems involved with the proposed plat and that perhaps instead of trying to <br />develop five lots, three would be a more reasonable number. <br /> <br />Mr. Zwar agreed that perhaps the five lots were too many and that he would like to pursue <br />a plat containing three lots employing a common drive for the three properties entering <br />off from HeineL <br /> <br />Mr. Membrez encouraged Mr. Zwar to evaluate that and other possible solutions to the <br />development and that the Commission would review them at their next meeting. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />~1r. Jim Folley, President of Owasso Shores Association, stated that the area was a fine <br />neighborhood in whidl to live. He felt that Roseville should continue the total planning <br />concept in the area and that this proposed development of five lots certainly would not be <br />app rop ria te . <br /> <br />Recomnendation <br />- . <br /> <br />Hrs 0 Demos moved and Mr. Edlund seconded, that Viola K10skin is preliminary plat, <br />"Vi's Lakeshore" at 515 South Owasso Boulevard, be laid over until the next regular <br />Commission meeting. The front yard setback variance is requested for the <br />proposed lot. The variance would permit a new home to be placed in conformance with the <br />
