-2- Planning File 66l-7l = Bridgeman's request for variance to pylon sign setback at 2150 North Lexington Avenue Presentation Mr. Jack Boss and Mro Gilbert Lindemann, owners of the Roseville BridgemanVs restaurant appeared on their behalf. Mro Lindemann stated it was his impression that the sign variance had been taken care of on the original application. However, he later discovered this was not the case. He stated that the sign would be placed at the comer of Burke and Lexington and that the required set- back from both streets was 30 feet. He was proposing a setback of 14 feet from Burke and 14 feet from Lexington. Discussion Mrs. Demos pointed out that the MaryY s Dairy, located adjacent to Bridgeman's had previously requested a sign variance in an almost identical situation and the reques t had been denied. Mr. Pope indicated that the Clark Oil Station which blocks the view of the restaurant has been there for some time, and that when Bridgemans constructed their building they were aware of the situation, therefore, he was hesitant to vote for any sign variance. Recommendation Mr. Kellett moved and Mr. V. Johnson seconded, that the Commission recommend denial of Bridgeman's request for variance to pylon sign setback at 2150 North Lexington Avenue. Planning File 662-71 - Pat Vitale request for variance to side yard setback at 630 Iona Lane Presentation Mro Vitale indicated that the present home as originally constructed is closer than 10 feet to tIle side property line. lIe indicated that he is proposing a 10 feet addition to the rear of the house which would bring the building to within 3.76 feet of the side yard property lineo Mro Vitale stated his neighbor's house directly to tile south is located about 10 feet from the property line and the part of the neighbor's house closest to his property is the garage. Mro Vitale pre- sented a letter from the neighbor located in the adjacent house to the south indicating that he had no objection to the relaxation of the side yard require- ment from lO feet to 3.76 feet. Recommendation Mr. V. Johnson Moved and r.lro Kellett Seconded, that the Commission recommend approval of Pat Vitale's request for variance to side yard setback at 630 Iona Lane.
