Fisher, Preliminary Plat "Len Ruth Estates", <br />1930 West County Road B <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Carl Fisher indicated that the property is presently zoned R-l and contains 4.2 <br />acres. He is seeking preliminary plat approval for nine single family residential <br />lots. All lots meet tile minimum square footage requirements. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mrs. Demos inquired if lots 4 and 6 have the required 85 foot width at the setback. <br />Mro Fisher replied in the affirmativeo <br /> <br />Reconunendation <br /> <br />Mr. Kellett Hoved and Mrs. Demos Seconded, that the Commission recommend approval <br />of Carl Bo Fisher's preliminary plat "Len Ruth Estates", 1930West County Road Do <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Demos, Kellett, Go Johnson, Vo Johnson and Pope. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 664-71 - Dayton Development Company request for vacation of portion <br />of Fairview Avenue between 111 36 and B-2 <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr 0 John Abbott of the Dayton Development Corporation indicated that the property in <br />question was part of the right-of-way for Fairview Avenue conveyed to the Village <br />in 1970. Because the intersection of 111 36 and Fairview Avenue has been completed <br />and the property in question has not been utilized, the Dayton Development Corpor- <br />ation is seeking to have the parcel vacated, and revert back to the Dayton Development <br />Corporation. Mr. Abbott indicated tllat it was merely a mechanical procedure. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. V. Johnson Moved and Mr. Kellett Seconded, that the Commission recommend approval <br />of Dayton Development Corporation's request for vacation of a portion of Fairview <br />between TI-l 36 and B-2. Roll Call, Ayes: Demos, Kellett G. Johnson, V. Johnson and <br />Pope. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 665=71 = Gunnar Pettersen request for rezoning from R-l to B=l and <br />variance at 2410 North Dale Street <br /> <br />Mro Pettersen indicated that he proposes to construct a single family home with an <br />attached beauty shop. The property consists of approximately 1.IZ acres. He stated <br />he is requesting tllat the westerly 135 feet of the parcel be rezoned B=l. The <br />attached beauty shop would sit on that portion of the parcel. The remainder of the <br />parcel would stay R- L <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mrs. Demos asked whether the parking lot met setback requirements 0 <br />Mr. Pettersen indicated it dido <br /> <br />Gordon Hunnicutt, 582 Transit, expressed concern about the traffic generated by <br />the patrons using the beauty salono He said no doubt it was a nice looking home <br />but that a 20 car parking lot in a residential area is just too much. <br />
