He stated that
Target proposed to build two additions to the existing building.

l. A seasonal sales area of approximately 4,000 square feet
2. A tire, battery and acces sory center of approximately 2,000 square feet

Because of the loss of parking spaces in constructing these two additions and the
additional parking spaces required because of the increased square footage of the total
building, Target is requesting a variance to the parking requirement of the Village.
The Village Code requirement would be for 866 total spaces. The proposed plan would
provide for 833 spaces, thereby creating a shortage of 33 spaces.

Discussion

Mrs. Demos indicated that she would like to see the Target Store repair their parking
lot and fill the holes which presently exist in the lot.

Mr. Pope indicated that he was disturbed by the presence of large truck trailers
located in the parking lot and around the store for purposes of storage of material
and of sales during vairous times of the year.
