<br />-3- <br /> <br />Roseville, and further stated that he would maintain the road. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr, Eagles moved and Mr. Membrez seconded, that the Commission reconunend approval of <br />Reuben Anderson's request for division of lot and variances at 2366 Rose Place with <br />the condition that an agreement be made between the Village of Rosevi11e and the property <br />owner to provide a 50 foot perpetual roadway easement to the Village of Rosevi11e for <br />access purposes from the Viking Automatic Sprinkler property to Rose Place with the <br />property owner responsible for maintenance of the roadway. Roll Call, Ayes: G. Johnson, <br />V. Johnson, Membrez, Demos, Eagles and Pope. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Plarming File 776 - Lillian Holmberg request for division of lot at 299 Capitol View <br />Avenue <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mrs. Holmberg indicated that she desires to divide her property and perhaps sell one <br />of the parcels in the future. <br /> <br />Reconnnendation <br /> <br />Mr. G. Johnson moved and Mrs. Demos seconded, that the Commission recommend approval <br />of Lillian Holmberg's request for division of lot at 299 Capitol View Avenue with the <br />condition that 10 feet of additional right-of-way be dedicated on Capitol View. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kellett, G. Johnson, V. Johnson, Membrez, Demos, Eagles and Pope. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />P1arming File 777 - Shafer Contracting request for special use permit at 646 West <br />County Road C <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Bob Rudy, representing Shafer Contracting Company, indicated that he is seeking a <br />special use permit for the purpose of excavating materials from the R-1 zoned property <br />at 656 West County Road C. He stated that the material would be used on construction <br />projects in the area, and that no specific time as to when all the material would be <br />removed has been detennined. Mr. Rudy indicated he would be willing to post a bond to <br />insure that the final grading and seeding of the property would occur, and that he <br />would be agreeable to limiting the hours of operation from 7:00 .AM to 7:00 PM. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Ed Sa1verda, owner of the property,presented a petition to the Comnission signed <br />by abutting property owners indicating they had no opposition to removing gravel from <br />the property. <br /> <br />Mr. Salverda indicated that he would be willing to dedicate 10 feet for right-of-way <br />purposed on County Road C. <br /> <br />Mrs. Demos questioned what she considered to be an industrial use in a residential <br />neighborhood. She stated that it could be 2 or 3 sunnners of driving the people in the <br />neighborhood crazy with the noise and dust from the excavation. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. Membrez moved and Mr. Eagles seconded, that the Commission reconnnend approval of <br />
