Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 806 - Ban Con ~equest for a preliminary plat, Central Park View No.2 <br />at the 2400 block of Dale Street. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Hans Hagen representing Ban Con stated that the purpose of platting the lot as out10ts <br />was that then the lots would not be buildable. He also stated that all of the proposed <br />outlots are under letter of intent to buy with the property owners to the north. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. Grauel moved and Mr. Kellett seconded, that the Commission recommend approval <br />of the preliminary plat, Central Park View No.2 at the 2400 block of Dale Street. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Grauel, G. Johnson, Kellett and Pope. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 80] - Ban Con request for variance to temporary sign requirement at <br />2345 Rice Street. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Hans Hagen representing Ban Con stated, at present the buildings at this location <br />are approximately 43% leased and that they expect to be fully leased by the end <br />of this year. He also stated that of the three market tools used; signs, billboards <br />and the papers, that all requiries have come from the sign in question. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. Kellett moved and Mr, G. Johnson seconded, that the Commission recommend approval <br />of the request for variance to tempora~y sign requirement with the condition that <br />the sign remain in place no later than December 31,1974. Roll Call, Ayes: Grauel, <br />G. Johnson, Kellett and Pope. Nayes: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 799 - Lakeshore zoning ordinanceo <br /> <br />Presentati on <br /> <br />Howard Dahlgren indicated that the State has advised us that the formal guidelines <br />they are preparing will not be available until the end of FebruarY ~t the earliest. <br />However, he has, after many private discussions with the State, formulated a proposed <br />1akeshore zoning ordinance which he presented at this time. The ordinance accomplishes <br />the following goals: <br /> <br />1. Crte~orizes the bodies of water in the City. <br /> <br />2. Establishes standards for development in the various zoning districts. <br /> <br />3. Establishes natural environmental conservation areas. <br /> <br />4. Establishes rules and proceedures for implementing the ordinance. <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that the proposed ordinance will apply to bodies of water that <br />are five acres in surface area or larger. He also stated that, although this ordinance <br />will not give us public access to these lands, it 4i11 giqe us the time needed to <br />preserve these areas and possibly to purchase them in the future. <br /> <br />~iscussion <br /> <br />George Johnson asked if there was a provision in the ordinance to prevent the disposal <br />of storm water into these lakes. <br />
