Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 771 - Review of sign ordinance, <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />June Demos requested that section 14.211 of the proposed ordinance be changed to read, <br />"Within ten days following the general election for which the sign was posted." <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. Kellett moved and Mr. Grauel seconded, that the Commission recommed approval of the pro- <br />posed ordinance with the following change; that section 14.211 be changed to read, "Not more <br />than eleven days before elections and posted within five days following the general election. <br />and section 14.216 be changed to reflect the proper date." Roll call, Ayes: Grauel, G. Johnson <br />Kellett and Pope. Nayes: Noneo <br /> <br />Planning File 709 - Long Range City Development Plan, formerly called Capital Improvement <br />Program Pl an. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Various methods of formulation of such a plan were discussed by the members of the Commission. <br /> <br />Howard Dahlgren suggested that the Commission begin two groups of two or three with these <br />smaller groups making recommendations to the Planning Commission as to their area of expertise. <br />These smaller groups would then meet between Commission meetings and at the Commission meetings <br />would consolidate data that had been obtained to that date. ThA groups and their members are <br />as follows: Parks, Kellett, Grauel; Fire and Building, G. Johnson, Eagles and Pope; Public <br />Works, Va Johnson and Membrez. <br /> <br />Mr. Pope indicated that he would also work closely with DonSholund of the City Staff to <br />develope a more complete picture on income projections for the next five or six years. <br />
