Johnson moved and Mro G, Johnson seconded, that the Commission recommend approval <br />of Mid~America National Bank's request for variance to side yard setback at 2440 Fairview <br />Avenue with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1, That the construction of the new driveup tellers be permitted as proposed, <br />2, That the construction of a canopy over the driveup tellers be required <br />3, That the existing retaining walls and fence on the north portion of the <br />property not be moved and that the applicant prepare a study of how the drive. <br />way approach to the driveup tellers could be improved without moving the fence <br />and retaining walls for presentation to the Council for their consideration, <br /> <br />Roll Call~ Ayes: Cushing, Durgin, G. Johnson, V, Johnson, Kellett, Membrez and Grauel, <br />Nays, None, <br /> <br />Planning File 867 - Peavy Company and Applebaums request for variance to sign height at <br />1201 Larpenteur Avenue <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mro Merrill Sundholm representative of Applebaums indicated they propose to construct <br />their sign and the Craft Village sign on top of the previously approved Engler sign so <br />that all signs for the property would be on one pylon. The total height of the three signs <br />would be 39~ feet, <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr, Membrez moved <br />Peavy Company and <br />Roll Call. Ayes: <br />Nays, None, <br /> <br />and Mr, V, Johnson seconded. that the Commission recommend approval of <br />Applebaums request for variance to sign height at 1201 Larpenteur Avenue, <br />Cushing, Durgin, G.
