Duddleston request f01 vacation of right-of-lvay <br />(Turnstone Court) and preliminary plat "Duddleston <br />Lakevie,.,r" at 445 South o.'iasso Boulevard <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Duddleston indicated that he proposes to replat the property. The existing <br />plat has four lots around a cuI de sac. The cuI de sac has never been constructed. <br />He proposes to vacate the cuI de sac and plat four lots all having frontage on <br />South OWasso Boulevard. Two of the proposed lots h'ould be on the lakeshore and <br />have long driveways. He indicated that he did not feel there would be any need <br />to excavate for the two homes which would be located closer to South o.vasso <br />Boulevard. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Kramer recommended that a ten foot easement be provided on Lot 1 for sewer <br />and water services. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. G. Johnson moved and Mr. Rukavina seconded, that the Commission recommend <br />approval of J. M. Duddleston's request for vacation of right-of-way (Turnstone <br />Court) and preliminary plat I!Duddleston Lakeviewl! at 445 South Owasso Boulevard <br />with the condition that a 10 foot easement be provided on Lot 1 for sewer and <br />water services. Roll Call, Ayes: Cushing, G. Johnson, Kellett, ~fastel, Rukavina, <br />Simons and V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 961 - Dayton Hudson Corporation request for variance to rear yard <br />setback at 1515 West County RoadB <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. William Harrison, representing the Dayton Hudson Corporation, indicated that <br />they propose to construct a:p. addition to the east side of the present Target Store <br />1Vhich would come to within 28.9 feet of the property line. The existing building <br />is setback 78.9 feet from the property line. <br /> <br />Mr. Mormon, architect representing Dayton Hudson, indicated that the building <br />would be renovated and that the exterior wouid be cle~~ed up and treated with <br />a cement coating and would be buff in color. The main entrance would be moved <br />to the south. There would be wooden planters constructed in the parking area <br />which would be 8' x 81. Deliveries to the store would be received at the north- <br />east corner of the building. Mr. Harrison indicated that the asphalt on the east <br />side of the building would be removed and after the addition is constructed the <br />remaining property would be left as a green strip with landscaping. The size of <br />the parking stalls is 9' x 20'. The garden store operation would be moved to the <br />north side of the building and the access drive in front of the store would be <br />widened and the right angle turn eliminated. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Simons inquired if Dayton Hudson \vould be replacing the landscaping on the <br />east side of the building and in the planters if it were to die. <br /> <br />Mr. Harrison responded that "Yes, they would be replaced." <br />
