Johnson, Kellett, V. <br />Johnson, Nays: None, Abstain: Simons. <br /> <br />Planning File 991 - <br /> <br />MAT Properties request for rezoning from I-I to 1-2 and special <br />USE permit at 1920 County Road C <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mrc John Daubney, Attorney representing MAT Properties indicated that the present owner <br />had purchased the property from Ashbach Construction Company and had in turn leased it to <br />Gil~Flex Truck Rental, He stated that when the property was leased the owner was not <br />aware that a truck rental operation was not permitted in the I-I zoning district, He <br />stated that this was inadvertent on the part of the applicant and that he has now ceased <br />the operation until a decision is reached on his application for rezoning and special use <br />permit, <br /> <br />Mr, Daubney indicated that the truck rental operation is open between 8:00 A.M, and <br />5:00 P,Mo five days a week, There is an average of 20 units on the premises each day, <br />He stated there are approximately 7 movements of trucks each day. No repairs or main- <br />tenance would occur on the property. <br /> <br />My, Trapp, owner of the property, indicated that he has a three year lease with the <br />Gil Flex firm for the use of the property 0 <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mra Dahlgren indicated that one of the primary questions relating to the application is <br />whether the Commission feels that 1-2 zoning is appropriate in the area. <br />
