Johnson, that the City had received a letter <br />dated November 29, 1976, from Canadian Financial COrporation requesting a continuance <br />for 30 days of the public hearings currently set. <br /> <br />Recomrendation <br /> <br />Mr. Rukavina roved and Mr. Mastel seconded, that the Planning Conmission continue <br />Canadian Financial Corporation's request for special use permit for planned unit develop- <br />rrent at 2800 North Snelling Avenue to the regularly scheduled Planning Cam\ission rreeting <br />of January 5, 1977. Roll Call, Ayes: Cushing, G. Johnson, Kellett, Rukavina, Mastel, <br />SiIrons, V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1028 - Harlan Jeppesen request for division of lot at 2203 North Victoria <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />The applicant did not have a representative present at the Planning Carmission rreeting. <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that it would be proper for the Planning Conmission to make a <br />reccmrendation to the Council, and that effort should be made by the staff to inform <br />the applicant of the action taken. <br /> <br />Recornrendation <br /> <br />Mr. G. Johnson roved and Mr. Kellett seconded, that the Planning Conmission recomrend <br />approval of Harlan Jeppesen's request for division of lot at 2203 North Victoria <br />subject to the dedication of 10 feet of right-of-way for Victoria. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Cushing, G. Johnson, Kellett, Rukavina, Mastel, SiIrons, V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1029 - Denney's, Inc. request for special use permit at 1880 Perimeter <br />Drive <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Harry Gerrish, represented Denney's as their local architect. He indicated that <br />the proposed restaurant would seat 149 people having sufficient parking for all <br />concerned. The applicants have been in contact with Rice Creek Watershed and are <br />working with them in the solution of the drainage requirenents. He indicated that the <br />applicant would prefer to adjust the interior island located on the west side of the <br />property further south as this island was designed to have the power transforner for the <br />restaurant and this would reduce the lead-in wire length from the transforrrer to the <br />building. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. G. Johnson asked what the exterior materials would be and was told that it was a <br />precast concrete product that had a split rock face. <br /> <br />Mr. Rukavina asked what the proposed fire protection would be and it was indicated that <br />although the applicant's would rreet the City I S requirenents they would not be sprinkler- <br />ing the building. <br />
