Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1126 - Dayton Developnent Catpany request for preliminary plat <br />at 1705 STH 36 <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that the Rosedale Center, like rrost regional centers, is <br />owned by anchor tenants and ~ owner of the tenant building. For Posedale, the <br />existing anchor tenants are Day tons , J. C. Penney and I:bnaldson' s. A fourth anchor <br />tenant is nCM being added to the Rosedale Center, funtgarery Wards. Dayton-Hudson <br />Catpany's request to replat their land is being propos d because of the additional <br />parcel needed for I'bntgarery Wards structure and parking area. Portions of the <br />original plat remain the same, which are those areas allocated to the original Dayton <br />and J. C. Permey store. The new plat creates Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4. <br /> <br />Mr. V. Johnson asked Mr. Jim Blarquist, Project Manager, Dayton Hudson Canpany, if <br />there was anything he wished to add to the presentation. He did not. <br /> <br />The question arose whether the Wards building had been approved by the City Council. <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that it has. <br /> <br />Mr. Stark, 1630 Bruce, carplained that the Dayton Canpany was inproperly maintaining <br />its drainage system and is causing mmerous problems to adjoining properties. <br /> <br />Mr. V. Johnson was also concerned about the ponding Dayton's is going to provide with the <br />Wards development. Mr. Johnson expressed concern about the increased runoff and the <br />runoff in general cuased by the Dayton properties. <br /> <br />Mr. Blarquist indicated that they have worked with the Rice Creek Watershed District <br />in providing proper pending facilities for this new site. <br /> <br />Mr. Vern Johnson asked Mr. Blarquist if it ~uld be convenient to wait on approval of <br />the plat Until the pond is in. <br /> <br />Mr. Blooquist stated that they would have the pond in by this fall and that the Wards <br />building would be carpleted by August, 1979. <br /> <br />A question was brought up by a person in the audience as to why there was a parcel 4. <br /> <br />Mr. Blooquist indicated that parcel 4 belonged to Allied Stores and it will belong to <br />the developer at a later date. 'lhis arrangE!te!lt will balance out the properties in a <br />better maIDer and will not becooe a new building site. <br />
