<br />Roseville Planning Commission Meeting <br />-2- <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Dressler Moved and Johnson Seconded that the Planning Commission recommend <br />approval of Marie Woller's request for division of lot at 851 County Road B, <br />with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1) That an additional 10 feet of right-of-way be dedicated along Victoria <br />and County Road B. <br /> <br />2) That the lot division take place ln accordance with the survey dated <br />1/25/84. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Berry, Moeller, Dressler, Johnson, Matson, and Wiski. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1485 - Discus of Roseville, Inc. request for rezoning at 2561 <br />Snelling. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated questions regarding the traffic problem were the reason <br />the application was continued from the April 4th meeting. <br /> <br />Dick Wolsfeld of B.R.W. presented a traffic study of the frontage road <br />intersection and of the proposed restaurant. He indicated the accident <br />rate at the intersection is 40% below the expected level. The expected <br />traffic generation by the restaurant would be 600-750 trips on an average <br />weekday, 1,100 on a Friday, and 1,200 on a Saturday. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Matson asked what the State's feelings were concerning the intersection. <br /> <br />Drown indicated the current traffic level does not meet signalization warrants. <br />The restaurant traffic would make the traffic level close to signal warrants. <br /> <br />Johnson asked whether the State would signalize the intersection if warrants <br />were met. <br /> <br />Mr. Wolsfeld indicated the State probably would not signalize the intersection <br />because it is too close to the County Road B-2 interchange, and would cause <br />a higher accident rate. He indicated the signal at County Road C creates <br />traffic gaps which make the intersection work. <br />
