Planning File 1498 - Shorewood Corporation request for amendment to the comprehensive land use plan from medium density residential to high density residential at 2231 Rice. Presentation Mr. Dahlgren indicated the applicant has combined two pieces of property and proposes a 6l-uni t apartment proj ect. The proposed number of units requires an amendment to the comprehensive land use plan to high density residential. She asked whether the State could do something to enable Rice Street to better handle the traffic. Dahlgren indicated the State is responsible for providing for the handling of traffic on Rice Street. Moeller asked Gordie Howe, the representative of Shorewood Corporation, about the elevation of the houses on Hinnesota versus the proposed building. Mr. Howe indicated the proposed buildings are below the elevation of Minnesota Street.
