Planning Commission Minutes -2- Discussion Wiski indicated there appear to be two issues: A. Should there be a public street on this portion of Rose Place. B. If there is a public street, how should it be financed. Mr. Dahlgren indicated the Fire Marshal suggests an additional access would improve the safety of the trailer park. The park owner indicated there are 108 units. The park owner also indicated he does not want another entrance to the trailer park because it would be too difficult to control. Wi ski suggested that the City may want to assess Jones more than half the cost of the public street now and pay the extra cost back at the time the trailer park deferred assessment is paid. Recommendation Berry moved and Matson seconded that the Planning Commission recommend that the public street be constructed as per the drawing, by Mr. Dahlgren, of the potential circulation for the area; and that the Trailer Park assessments be deferred. Roll Call, Ayes: and Wiski. Nays: Dressler, DeBenedet, Johnson, Matson, Moeller, Berry, none. Planning File 1496 - Roselawn Cemetery request for preliminary plat at 803 Larpenteur. Presentation Mr. Dahlgren indicated Roselawn Cemetery has requested the withdrawal of their application due to the unanticipated high cost of recording the individual lots. Recommendation Matson moved and DeBenedet seconded that the Planning Commission recommend acceptance of Roselawn Cemetery's request for withdrawal of their applica- tion for preliminary plat at 803 Larpenteur. Roll Call, Ayes: and Wiski. Nays: Dressler, DeBenedet, Johnson, Matson, Moeller, Berry, none. After determining that representatives of New Horizon were not present at the meeting, Wiski suggested a motion to move the New Horizon item to the end of the agenda.
