<br />-3- <br /> <br />1) That the developnlent be constructed in accordance with site plan dated 12-24-84 <br />with last revision dated 1-9-85. <br />2) That the utility and drainage plans be approved by staff. <br />3) That the proposed easements be approved by staff. <br />4) That the staff review the exterior materials proposed for the MG1 building. <br /> <br />Dressler moved, DeBenedet seconded that the motion be amended by rewording condition <br />number 4 to read: <br /> <br />4) That the exterior concrete block shall be treated instead of painted. <br /> <br />Mr. DeBenedet expressed concern about how long painted block would look good. <br /> <br />Mr. l10eller indicated he ",as uneasy about recommending treated block. He stated his <br />experience with it had not been very good in the past. <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren stated that another possible masonry material would be brick, similar to <br />the brick used for the City Hall. <br /> <br />Dressler moved, DeBenedet seconded that the proposed amendment be amended to read: <br /> <br />4) That the exterior material for the UGH Liquor Store be brick. <br /> <br />Mr. Chestnut indicated that brick is approximately $6 to $7 more per square foot than <br />block. He said it would increase the cost of the project approximately 10% to use <br />the brick. <br /> <br />r1rs. Johnson indicated this was an important street in Roseville, and the buildings <br />should be constructed in a quality manner. <br /> <br />Roll Call on the motion to amend the amendment, <br />Ayes: Johnson, Berry, DeBenedet, Dressler and Wiski. <br /> <br />Nays: ~mtson and Moeller. <br /> <br />Roll Call on the main motion as amended which now reads: <br /> <br />That the Corrmission recommend approval of Fine Associates request for <br />preliminary plat and special use permit for site plan approval and off-sale <br />liquor store at 2730 Snelling Avenue Frontage Road East, with the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1) That the development be constructed in accordance with site plan dated <br />12-24-84 with last revision dated 1-9-85. <br />2) That the utility and drainage plans be approved by staff. <br />3) That the proposed easements be approved by staff. <br />4) That the exterior ITaterial for the M~l Liquor Store be brick. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Hatson, Hoeller, Berry, DeBenedet, Dressler and <br />t"Tisk i . <br /> <br />Nays: None. <br />
