<br />Roseville Planning Commission Meeting <br />September 4, 1985 <br /> <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren suggested that rather than approving both plans, the second plan <br />submitted was indeed the superior one. <br /> <br />Dressler moved, seconded by Johnson that the variance be approved for the <br />second plan as submitted by Mr. Dunwell. <br /> <br />DeBenedet moved to amend the motion to delete the one parking spot on the <br />southeast corner of the building which was seconded by Mueller. <br /> <br />Amendment Roll Call: Ayes: Matson, DeBenedet, Dressler, Johnson, Mueller, <br />Wiski <br /> <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Motion Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: Matson, Debenedet, Dressler, Johnson, Mueller, <br />Wiski <br /> <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Plannirut File 1612 <br /> <br />Terry Hurias request for preliminary plat at 2550 North Snelling. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren pointed out that several months ago the applicant applied to the <br />City for a lot split to create an area for an additional single-family home. <br />None of the properties were existing plats, therefore it was more appropriate <br />that the request come forward in terms of a preliminary plat. <br /> <br />Mr. Hurias also showed illustrations of what he was proposing and how his home <br />would sit on the respective lot to the north. Mr. Drown pointed out that <br />there is a free-standing gar~e in the northern parcel that could create a <br />problem. <br /> <br />Mr. Mueller asked Mr. Hurias about the garage and his proposed timetable. Mr. <br />Hurias stated that the garage is only five (5) years old and he would like to <br />hold onto it if possible. <br /> <br />Mr. DeBenedet asked about <br />improvements to the area. <br />for a new street and that <br />site for the home. <br /> <br />the extension of utilities and the street <br />Mr. Drown discussed how the cost would be allocated <br />it could end up around approximately $15,000.00 on the <br />
