<br />Roseville Planning CVlmnission Minutes <br />November 6, 1985 <br /> <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Matson moved, seconded by Johnson, that the rezoning be approved from <br />1-1 to B-2. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Berry, Johnson, Dressler, Matson, Mueller, <br />DeBenedet, and Wiski. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Matson moved, Berry seconded, to approve the Special Use request of <br />the parking setback variance per plans submitted November 6, 1985, <br />with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the drainage plan be approved by staff. <br />2. That appropriate sidewalks be developed on the parcel. <br />3. That the entryways on the south be modified and approved by <br />staff. <br />4. That the screening and mechanical systems to the maximum extent <br />feasible be screened. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Berry, Johnson, Dressler, Matson, Miller, and <br />DeBenedet and Wiski. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1629 <br />Allan Hancock request for division of lot at 2062 North Lexington. <br /> <br />Presentation <br />Mr. Dahlgren discussed the location of the proposed lot split, and <br />stated this was a simple division of a lot on the north/south basis. <br />Ms. Hancock discussed the proposal with the Planning Commission, and <br />stated it was certainly compatible with the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Matson asked how the attached garage would be used. Ms. Hancock <br />replied, simply for storage. Matson stated that the Lexington <br />driveway in the new parcel should have an internal turnaround. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Matson moved, Berry seconded, that the lot split be approved with the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That a 16.5 right-of-way dedication be accomplished. <br />2. That the driveway on the southern parcel, when construction <br />occurs, be an internal turnaround. <br /> <br />Discussion <br />Dressler asked whether a limiting provision can be placed on a <br />undeveloped lot. Dahlgren replied that yes, this could occur. <br />Mayor Demos stated that a recommendation could be made later by <br />ordinance for the Council to address lot divisions on major <br />arterials. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Berry, Johnson, Dressler, Matson, Mueller, <br />DeBenedet, and Wiski. <br />Nays: None. <br />
