Roseville Planning Commission Minutes
July 2, 1986

Page 8

Wiski asked about the manhole to the south. Janisch replied that
the City and Pope are still attempting to ascertain who the owner
of said manhole is.

Nancy Kasper, of 845 Sandhurst, stated that she wanted the pit to
the south filled, and referenced the Council minutes relating to
the FML agreement pointing out that the pit would be filled.

Wilson stated he would like to raise part of the ravines and save
the trees, and then stabilize the rest of the area for erosion.
He also realized they would have to keep part of the ravine for
ponding and if so requested, would place the fence on the
southern part of the property.

After further questioning, Wilson replied that he would fill in
the pit if that is the Planning Commission's and Council's desire.

Gordon Fredrickson. 837 Sandhurst Drive, reiterated that he
wanted the ravine filled also.

Judy Guidarelli, 781 W. Sherren, asked where the water main would
be coming from into the area. Janisch replied the City still
needs to negotiate easements at the City's expense.

Berry moved, Johnson seconded, that the Pope/Brutger request for
revised P.U.D. at 2550 Victoria be approved with the following
conditions:

1. That the appropriate sidewalks be constructed.

2. That the pit be filled in according to staff recommendations.

3. That erosion in the area be stabilized.

4. That the developers negotiate the landscaping and fence with
the neighbors and place a bond with the City, equivalent to
the cost of the fence.

5. That final landscape, lighting and drainage plans be approved
by City Staff.

Discussion
Berry pointed
familiar with,
increased.

out that in the apartment
the values of the adjacent

developments
properties

she is
actually

Roll Call, Ayes:
Nays:

Berry, Johnson, Maschka, Moeller, and Wiski.
None.

Planning File 1678
Frieda Schulze request for division of lot at 3010 Cleveland
Avenue was continued until the August meeting, as Chairman Wiski
noted earlier in the meeting.
