The moratorium should not exceed six months. <br /> <br />Roll Call on Amendment: <br /> <br />Ayes: Berry, Goedeke, Moeller, Maschka, <br />Johnson, and Wiski. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Roll Call on Amended Motion: Ayes: Berry, Goedeke, Moeller, Maschka, <br />Johnson, and Wiski. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Johnson moved, Goedeke seconded, that the Planning Commission <br />table the Mar-Len request until consideration of the moratorium by <br />the City Council. <br /> <br />If the City Council does not approve the moratorium, the Mar-Len <br />application should be reviewed at the November 10, 1986 meeting. <br /> <br />Peterson stated he believed that this item should be considered by <br />the Planning Commission even if the moratorium wasn't approved by <br />the Council. <br /> <br />wiski stated that the Commission needs more information, and <br />should not act on the Mar-Len application based on the information <br />that would be emanating from the moratorium analaysis process. <br /> <br />Waldron stated that the position to table was a recommendation by <br />the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Johnson also pointed out that the Planning Commission needs more <br />information to make a decision based on the data that would be <br />generated through the moratorium analysis; therefore, it was not <br />appropriate to address the application that night. <br /> <br />Dahlgren also reiterated the fact that the recommendation to table <br />was put forth by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Berry <br />asked <br />areas, <br /> <br />pointed out again how the Planning Commission continually <br />for a comprehensive approach to a number of the development <br />and the moratorium offers such an opportunity. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Berry, Goedeke, Moeller, Maschka, Johnson, and <br />Wiski. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1704 <br />Pointe Development Corporation's request for preliminary plat at <br />2545 Hamline. <br /> <br />Presentation <br />Janisch discussed this particular plat, pointing out that it is <br />being divided for three lots. It is basically being divided for <br />the purposes of the mortgages, and to effectuate the Development <br />Agreement which requires dedication of the pond to the City. <br /> <br />Jim Johnston, representing pointe Development Corporation, said he <br />agreed with the presentation of the City staff. <br />
