Dahlgren replied that there would be liability <br />concerns, but it would be a private issue. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: DeBenedet, Goedeke, Moeller, Berry, Maschka, and <br />Johnson. <br />Nays: Stokes. <br /> <br />Berry moved, Goedeke seconded, that the Shelard Group, Inc. request <br />Special Use Permit for gasoline dispensing be approved at 2435 Rice <br />Street. <br /> <br />Discussion <br />Stokes stated that the additional traffic is inappropriate, thus <br />he was opposed to the project. <br /> <br />Johnson pointed out that highway and road improvements generally <br />follow development. <br /> <br />DeBenedet stated that this development is consistent with the <br />Comprehensive Plan and the respective ordinances. <br /> <br />Stokes pointed out again that he is opposed to the increased <br />traffic based on the inherent danger that it would present. <br />
