<br />Roseville Planning Commission Minutes <br />May 6, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />DeBenedet stated his concern with respect to the setback as it <br />relates to adjacent properties. <br /> <br />Berry stated her concern with respect to the trash. <br /> <br />Moeller stated he was convinced that the setback of 75 feet was <br />certainly appropriate, but the trash should be addressed. <br /> <br />Berry moved, Maschka seconded, that the ZLZ Company request for <br />Special Use Permit at 1909 West Highway 36 be approved with the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />l. That the trash container be enclosed. <br />2. That the parking lot and building be repaired. <br />3. That the final engineering plans be approved by staff. <br />4. That the development proceed per plans dated September 6, 1983. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Stokes, DeBenedet, Goedeke, Moeller, Berry, <br />Maschka, and Johnson. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1754 <br />Har Mar request for Special Use Permit and sign variance at 2100 <br />North Snelling. <br /> <br />DeBenedet moved, Maschka seconded, that the Har Mar request for <br />Special Use Permit and sign variance at 2100 North Snelling be <br />continued until the June 3, 1987, meeting. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Stokes, DeBenedet, Goedeke, Moeller, Berry, <br />Maschka, and Johnson. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Other Business <br />Formulation of New Business Zone <br />Dahlgren proceeded to introduce the landowners that he and Mr. <br />Waldron have met with regarding the potential new zoning. <br />Dahlgren discussed the general 35W area, and showed a number of <br />slides that depicted the approach the City was taking within the <br />35W area. <br /> <br />Dahlgren again thanked all of the landowners for their <br />assistance, and stated that a number of the landowners, such as <br />Rick Johnson, have suggested a five year review of the proposal. <br /> <br />A number of landowners in the area proceeded to discuss a number <br />of concerns with respect to the new zones. Dave Berg from <br />Glacier Property stated the following: The City's approach ap- <br />pears to be workable, and Glacier is supportive of it with cer- <br />tain concerns which are: <br /> <br />1. The area should be market driven and not driven by the zones. <br />
